FAISALABAD, Dec 06 (APP): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir convened a high-level meeting to ensure strict implementation of the Kite-Flying Act 2025 across the district and said that a decisive move would be initiated against the manufacturing and sale of hazardous kite strings and illegal kite-flying activities.
City Police Officer (CPO) Bilal Umar, Additional Deputy Commissioner General, officials of City Traffic Police, Assistant Commissioners, Civil Defense officers and representatives of other departments were also present in the meeting.
The DC reviewed in detail the administrative, security and regulatory measures required for effective enforcement of kite-flying act and said that zero tolerance policy would be adopted against chemically-coated string manufacturers.
He said that the district administration would intensify crackdown by targeting both production and supply networks involved in the illegal trade of kite-flying material.
