FAISALABAD, Jan 14 (APP):Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar continued his inspection drive of public hospitals
and visited Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Hospital in Haseeb Shaheed Colony here on Wednesday
to review healthcare services.
During visit, he toured different wards of the hospital and inquired after under-treatment patients. He sought feedback regarding the availability of medicines and checked cleanliness arrangements besides inspecting bed sheets to ensure hygienic conditions for patients.
He received a briefing on the hospital’s expansion project and said that necessary steps would be taken to ensure timely completion of upgradation works.
He directed the medical superintendent to ensure that benefits of Punjab government’s healthcare reforms should reach patients without interruption.
Inspection of public hospitals would continue on a regular basis to maintain service standards and improve quality of healthcare delivery for the citizens, he added.
