SARGODHA, Oct 30 (APP):The Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SWCCI) on Thursday held a meeting with the Government College of Technology (GCT) to explore collaboration opportunities aimed at promoting women’s education, technical training, and skill development.
According to a spokesperson for the SWCCI here, the officials from GCT briefed SWCCI representatives on the institution’s latest diploma programs and courses, outlining details such as admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and curriculum structure. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to enhancing cooperation between academia and industry.
The proposed partnership aims to offer SWCCI members greater access to GCT’s educational resources, technical programs, and skill development initiatives.
SWCCI Founder President Shamim Aftab highlighted that such collaborations are crucial in bridging the gap between industry needs and academic training, ultimately empowering women through practical education and professional growth opportunities.
The meeting concluded with a shared vision to strengthen female participation in technical fields and promote sustainable employment opportunities through education-based empowerment initiatives.
