QUETTA, Mar 23 (APP): Pakistan Day was observed with national enthusiasm and spirit in respective areas of Balochistan on Monday.
The March 23rd was celebrated in respective districts including Quetta, Mastung, Sibi, Barkhan, Harnai, Jaffarabad, Nasirabad, Guhlo, Gwadar, Turbat, Khuzdar and other districts.
Flag-hoisting ceremonies, rallies, seminars and other programs regarding Pakistan Day were organized in DCs Offices, schools and other departments by deputy commissioners in their respective areas where various officials from different departments including Assistant Commissioners, Additional Assistant Commissioners along with scholars, members of social organizations, students and local journalists participated.
The speakers reiterated that the nation would never forget the unparalleled sacrifices made by our forefathers, which have enabled us to breathe in the free atmosphere of Pakistan today.
They mentioned that March 23 serves as a reminder of the sacrifices of our national heroes, whose sacrifices led to the inception of Pakistan,
The rallies participants were carrying Pakistani flags, placards and banners inscribed with slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan armed forces Zindabad.
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, speakers and participants paid tribute to the sacrifices made by our ancestors, reaffirming our commitment to not hesitate from any sacrifice for the survival, development, and prosperity of Pakistan.
Balochistan Home Department Assistant Babar Khan Yousafzai has said that mobile network services have been temporarily suspended in some cities due to security concerns, this step has been taken to deal with potential threats and ensure public safety.
He apologized to the public and said that the first priority for the provincial government is the safety of people’s lives and property.
