QUETTA, Mar 23 (APP):Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday said that the day of March 23 holds a golden place in the history of Pakistan.
He said that this day reminds us of the great sacrifices that resulted in the Muslims getting an independent homeland.
In a message, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the Lahore Resolution laid the foundation for the establishment of a separate state for the Muslims of the subcontinent, which took practical form under the inspiring leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam.
The Chief Minister said that today’s day teaches us to follow the golden principles of unity, faith and organization and it is the need of the hour that we should go beyond personal interests and play our role for the development and prosperity of the country and nation. Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the brave people of Balochistan have always played the role of a vanguard for the integrity and stability of Pakistan and the development of the province is actually the development of Pakistan.
He said that the government of Balochistan would utilize all resources to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people of Balochistan, lasting peace and the writ of the state. The CM stressed on the unity of the nation against terrorism and extremism and said that the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and other security agencies would not go in vain.
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, he reiterated his resolve to protect the country’s geographical and ideological borders at all costs.
He termed the youth as the country’s valuable asset and said that Pakistan’s bright future would be created by equipping them with modern education and skills.
He said that the deprivations of the people are being addressed in Balochistan through merit, transparency and good governance.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan said that Pakistan is a bouquet where people of every color and every language have equal rights.
Paying tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Movement, he said that their sacrifices make us proud citizens of a free homeland.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan appealed to the nation to prioritize their personal interests over the interests of the country and the nation on this day and prayed that Allah Almighty may always keep Pakistan happy and prosperous and make it a cradle of peace, stability and prosperity.
