Balochistan CM orders accelerated completion of Rakhni-Bekar Road project

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday expressed deep concern over the slow pace of the Rakhni to Bekar blacktop road project, stressing that delays in development projects are unacceptable.

QUETTA, Mar 26 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday expressed deep concern over the slow pace of the Rakhni to Bekar blacktop road project, stressing that delays in development projects are unacceptable.

He made these remarks while presiding over a meeting to review the progress of the road’s construction. During the session, concerned authorities briefed the Chief Minister on the ongoing work.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti directed that the construction company, superintending engineer, and Xen remain on-site until the project’s completion to accelerate progress and ensure no compromise on quality. He further instructed that the blacktop and bridge construction along the route be completed within the stipulated timeline.

The Chief Minister emphasized that timely completion of the project would improve transportation in the area and provide greater convenience to the public. He also instructed the Secretary of Communications and Works (C&W) to visit the site every month to personally monitor progress and ensure both timely and high-quality completion of the project.
