ISLAMABAD, June 8 (APP): Spokesman to the Foreign Office Muhammad Nafees Zakaria Wednesday said Pakistan wanted India to resolve Kashmir issue in accordance with the resolutions of United Nation Security Council (UNSC).
International community was well aware of Kashmiris’ difficulties during
the last 70 years, he said this while talking to a news channel.
He said Pakistan always supported the Kashmir issue through moral and diplomatic means and had highlighted the importance of Kashmir cause at various international forums.
Nafees Zakaria said India has systematically violated the Security
Council resolutions over Kashmir.
He said India was trying to make geographical and ground realities
changes in the occupied territory and it was involved in human rights violations.
The spokesman said the Indian government continued its policy of human rights violation in the Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
He said that Pakistan has clear point of view that Kashmir is a disputed
territory and it should be resolved under the resolutions adopted by the United Nation Security Council.
The right of plebiscite should be given to Kashmiris, he added.
