Deadly clashes leaves 10 dead in Hangu |

PESHAWAR,
Jan 10 (APP): At least ten people were killed and 17 other injured when clashes
broke out between rival groups in Hangu district on Saturday where curfew was
enforced from 8th of Muharram ul Haram, police official said.
The
district police told APP that at least ten people have been killed in clashes
between supporters from two groups in Hangu and 17 wounded in the multiple
shootings.
The clashes
started when one group started firing in the city areas which was retaliated by
the other group.
The firing
continued intermittently between the opponents and targeting each others
locations.
District
Hangu was under curfew from 8th of Muharram, even then miscreants are
hitting the city with rockets.
The
district authorities are trying to restore order and convened a meeting of
elders of both the groups in the office of DCO in which various options were
discussed for maintaining peace and harmony.
