ISLAMABAD Feb 06 (APP): The United States Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Ambassador Richard G. Olson Saturday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, here at General Headquarters. A news release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 5 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Friday said Kashmir issue was a test for current leadership of Pakistan and India and peoples of both countries could not prosper and progress, until the lingering issue was resolved. Expressing optimism on initiation of bilateral dialogue process in the days ahead, the Prime Minister said resolution of all issues lies in mutual dialogue and added both India and Pakistan would have to think about the well-being and progress of their peoples. The Prime Minister was speaking at the joint session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Kashmir Council, in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day.

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government and the people of Pakistan solemnly reaffirmed their unflinching and continued moral, diplomatic and political support to the heroic struggle of the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. “We, along with the free people across the globe, salute the brave, valiant and courageous men, women and youth of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir who laid their lives for the sacred cause of freedom in the last 68 years,” the President said in his message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, being observed on February 5, throughout the world.

RAWALAKOT (AJK) Feb 5 (APP): State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazal Chaudhary Friday said durable regional peace was not possible without resolving Kashmir issue. He said this must be in accordance with United Nations Resolutions and according to aspirations of the people of Kashmir.

KARACHI, Feb 5 (APP): The provision of water to Gwadar through Pakistan Navy Tankers continues as another Pakistan Navy Fleet Tanker PNS Nasr reached Gwadar port with 1,000 tons of fresh/drinking water onboard. The ongoing efforts of transporting fresh water from Karachi to Gwadar through Pakistan Navy Tankers and subsequently its distribution to area residence in coordination with the local district administration is paying the dividends as the present alarming situation at Gwadar City is getting improved through persistent water supply.

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5 (APP): Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed in Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland on Friday with the expression of complete solidarity and support for the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for the right of self-determination. A large protest demonstration was held outside the Indian Consulate in Edinburgh to express support and solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination.

LAHORE, Feb 5 (APP): The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Friday called upon the international community to help provide due right of self-determination to the people of occupied Kashmir as well as giving a halt to the Indian aggression in held Kashmir.
