ISLAMABAD, Mar 25 (APP): Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Dr Asif Kirmani on Friday said Pakistan Muslim  League (N) would award party tickets to the suitable candidates for  upcoming AJK election on merit after consultation with the  parliamentary board. Addressing a press conference here, Kirmani said PML-N will  field its candidates in all constituencies of Aazd Jammu and Kashmir in the upcoming general elections. He expressed the confidence that the PML-N under the  leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would win the elections in  AJK with vast majority.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 25 (APP): Pakistan and Iran on Friday agreed to further bolster their bilateral relations in diverse areas of trade, economy and energy, besides deciding to open two additional crossing points along their border to encourage and facilitate trade and people-to-people contacts. “Our trade and economic ties have suffered due to sanctions. We have agreed to strengthen our bilateral ties in diverse areas of trade, economy and energy,” Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said while addressing a joint press stakeout alongwith Iranian President Hassan Rouhani here at the PM House. Earlier, Prime Minister Sharif and President Rouhani held one-on-one and delegation level talks during which the two sides held wide range of discussions on bilateral as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

ISLAMABAD, March 25 (APP): Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Friday urged the people with democratic mindset, to extend their support for strengthening democracy. He said, “Democracy is destined to stay here and dictatorship to vanish; hence democracy-loving people must stand by the
democratic forces.” He was addressing the participants of a reception held in honour of renowned media figure Mushtaq Minhas, who recently joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) AJK-Chapter.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 24 (APP): Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid on Thursday said that the government intends to take all provinces on board in implementing the Green Pakistan Project. “The government will create climate change council to achieve the desired results,” he said while chairing a meeting, comprising of all representatives of federating units on the Green Pakistan Project, launched by the Prime Minister. The meeting was also attended by provincial secretaries and representatives of National Highway Authority (NHA) and Capital Development Authority (CDA).
