Livestock Deptt empowers field staff with motorcycles,ultrasound machines
SARGODHA, Jul 11 (APP):The Livestock Department organised a distribution ceremony in Sahiwal tehsil, providing motorcycles and modern ultrasound machines to its field staff to enhance mobility and diagnostic efficiency in rural areas.
The event was graced by Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Livestock Sardar Asim Sher Maken, Member of the Punjab Assembly Barrister Taimoor Ali Khan, Director Livestock Dr. Arif Sultan, Additional Director Livestock Sargodha Dr Tanveer Ashraf Kalyar, Deputy Director Livestock Sahiwal Dr. Rai Khudadad, and Madam Rashida Parveen.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries highlighted that the Punjab Government is committed to modernizing the Livestock Department.
They emphasized that the provision of advanced technology and transport facilities will significantly improve the field staff’s ability to serve livestock farmers, particularly in remote and underserved areas. During the ceremony, motorcycles and portable ultrasound machines were formally handed over to field staff.
The initiative was warmly appreciated by the attendees, who expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government for its forward-thinking approach to rural livestock healthcare.
