ISLAMABAD, Mar 24 (APP): Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid on Thursday said that the government intends to take all provinces on board in implementing the Green Pakistan Project. “The government will create climate change council to achieve the desired results,” he said while chairing a meeting, comprising of all representatives of federating units on the Green Pakistan Project, launched by the Prime Minister. The meeting was also attended by provincial secretaries and representatives of National Highway Authority (NHA) and Capital Development Authority (CDA).

ISLAMABAD, Mar 24 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz has said that higher education must be  on top priority to get international recognition as Pakistan was going to play very important role in global market. He stated this in a meeting with Dr Masoom Yasinzai Rector  International Islamic University Islamabad, who called on him  and discussed the role of universities in development of Pakistan, said a news release Thursday. Sartaj Aziz lauded the contributions of IIUI at national and international levels and urged the university to  promote higher education in Pakistan. Advisor to the PM exchanged his views with Rector IIUI on matters of the university, particularly to extend its out-reach and scope to maximum.

He highlighted the Prime Minister’s policy of peaceful neighborhood and non-interference in the region, and reiterated Pakistan’s desire to build a constructive and trust-based relationship with all its neighbours. He was talking to the Director General Southeast and South West Asian Affairs Department, Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. China to complete coal-based power plant in record time
