RAWALPINDI, Feb 28 (APP): Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Sunday visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar and enquired about well-being of soldier of Afghan National Army (ANA). ANA soldier Alam Zeb was evacuated from Bajaur on February 25 in injured condition (head injury) by Pakistan Army and was admitted to CMH Peshawar, Director General ISPR Lt. Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted.
Pakistan, India cooperation helpful to region in fighting terrorism
WASHINGTON, Feb 27 (APP): Terrorism is a threat to both Pakistan and India and their cooperation in fighting the menace is helpful to the region, a State Department spokesman said on Friday. Responding to a question at a regular briefing about cooperation between the two countries, especially in dealing with terrorist incidents, spokesman Mark Toner said that the United States had been very vocal in the past in encouraging greater cooperation between India and Pakistan.

19 terrorists killed, 4 security personnel including Captain embrace shahadat
RAWALPINDI, Feb 27 (APP): At least 19 terrorists were killed while several others injured in an intense crossfire with the security forces during the on-going operation in Mangroti near Pakistan Afghanistan border on Saturday. As result of crossfire, four security forces personnel inclusive of a Captain embraced shahdat, Inter Services Public Relation’s (ISPR) news release here stated.

Dar chaired funding requirement meeting for TDPs
