ISLAMABAD, April 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated Rs2558.950 million for various ongoing and new schemes of Revenue Division under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the upcoming fiscal year 2018-19.
According to budgetary document, Rs1144.350 million have been allocated for new schemes of the division whereas Rs1414.6 million for ongoing projects.
Among the new schemes, Rs100 million each would be spent on construction of Regional Tax office Sargodha and construction of zonal office and transit accommodation office at Gwadar.
Rs100 million have been allocated for purchase of land for construction of warehouse, office for customs department at Mansehra, Rs100 million for construction of office of Intelligence and Investigation (IRS) Karachi and another Rs100 of construction of MMC and Directorate of Transit Trade at Gilgit for CPEC trade facilitation.
The government allocated Rs75 million for construction of Customs Complex at SOST and Rs40 million for construction of international hostel and class room at DOT complex, Allama Iqbal Town Lahore.
The government would spend Rs73 million fro strengthening tax systems and building tax policy analysis capacity project where as Rs59.250 million would be spent on purchase of land for regional tax office Peshawar. The government also allocated Rs50 million for construction of warehouse for Model Customs Collectorate at Thokar Niaz Baig Lahore.
Among the ongoing schemes, the government allocated Rs840 million for development of Integrated Transit Trade Management System (ITTMS) under ADB Regional Improving Border Service project.
The government also allocated Rs200 for establishment of Inlad Revenue offices in Pakistan, Rs150 for construction of Model Custom Collectorate at Gwadar and Rs150 million for Construction of Regional Tax Office at Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD, April 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated Rs70.2 million for Economic Affairs Division (EAD) project under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the upcoming fiscal year 2018-19.
The amount would be utilized for strengthening of external debt management in EAD (WB), according to budgetary document issued here.
Govt earmarks Rs200mln for Statistics Division projects
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated Rs200 million for three ongoing and new schemes of Statistics Division under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the upcoming fiscal year 2018-19.
According to budgetary document, Rs132 million have been allocated for ongoing project of up-gradation of rural area frame for the conduct of census and survey.
Among the new schemes, the government allocated Rs45 million for development of computer assisted personal interviewing system for all surveys and census of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
An amount of Rs68 million has been earmarked for GIS automation and capacity building of PBS offices.
Rs 4677.487 million allocated for Aviation Division
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated Rs 4677.487 million for ten ongoing and three new development schemes of Aviation Division under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for next financial year 2018-19.
According to the budgetary document, an amount of Rs 3872.507 million has been reserved for the ongoing schemes, while
Rs 804.980 for the new schemes.
Among the ongoing schemes a major amount of Rs 1800 million have been reserved for the New Gwadar International Airport, Gwadar, while Rs 859.690 million for Airport Security Force (ASF) accommodation at New International Airport (revised) and
Rs 461 million for installation of Weather Surveillance Radar at Karachi.
Similarly, an amount of Rs 307.260 million has been allocated for the construction of Rain Water Harvesting Kasana Dam,
Islamabad, Rs 250 million for acquisition of Land Construction/Establishment of Airport at Mansehra KPK, Rs 84.532 million
for establishment of Specialized Medium Range Weather Forecasting Centre (SMRFC) and Strengthening of Weather
Forecasting System.
Among the new projects an amount of Rs 675.980 million has been reserved for Extension/Upgradation of Bannu Airport for
A-320/B-737 or Equivalent Aircraft Operation Phase-1 (Land Acquisition Bannu), while Rs 100 million and Rs 29 million
have been earmarked for Strengthening of Early Warning System of Pakistan Meteorological Department and Installation
of Weather Surveillance Radar at Multan respectively.
Rs. 300 million allocated for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority in PSDP 2018-19
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The government has allocated an amount of Rs. 300 million for two ongoing and one new project of Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) for fiscal year 2018-19 in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
The budgetary allocation include Rs. 30 million for the new scheme of Re-Enforcement of PNRA’s Capacity and Regulatory Oversight against Vulnerabilities of Digitalized Contracts and Cyber Threats.
An amount of Rs. 270 million is allocated for two ongoing schemes of the authority including Rs. 230 million for establishment of National Radiological Emergency Coordination Center and Rs. 40 million for Capacity Building in Design Assessment and Analysis to Ensure Safety of Advance Nuclear Power Plants in Pakistan.
All the projects are funded by the indigenous resources of the government and not a single penny is taken as foreign grant, the budgetary document showed.
Rs 2810 million reserved for Defence Production Division
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated Rs 2810 million for two ongoing and one new development schemes of Defence Production Division under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the next financial year 2018-19.
According to the budgetary document, Rs 2730 million have been earmarked for the ongoing schemes, which include Rs 1900 million for installation of Ship Lift & Transfer System and Associated Machinery & Equipment to Provide Docking and Repair Facilities to Surface Ship, Submarines and Commercial Vessels of upto 7781 Tonnage (Karachi) and Rs 830 million for Infrastructure Upgradation of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KSEW).
An amount of Rs 80 million has been set aside for a new unapproved project – Feasibility Study for Enhancement, Upgradation and Augmentation/BMR of Production Facilities at PAC Kamra.
Rs.10118.683mln allocated for Maritime Affairs Division
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The government has allocated Rs. 10118.683 million for 19 ongoing and new schemes for Maritime Affairs Division under Public Sector Development Programme(PSDP) 2018-19.
A PSDP Budget document on Friday showed that there would be ten ongoing and nine new schemes for which Rs.8145.330 million and Rs.1973.353 million have been allocated for next fiscal year respectively.
The major amount of Rs. 6035.260 million would be spent on construction of East-bay Expressway under CPEC while
Rs. 682.784 million would be spent for development and construction of Port Allied Structures in Mullah Band Area.
Among the new schemes Rs. 895.853 million have been earmarked for Land Acquisition as per Gwadar Port Master
Plan as well as Rs. 702.025 million for Oil Storage Construction at Oil Installation Area Keamari, Karachi.
Rs 640.644 million earmarked for Defence Division
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated Rs 640.644 million for five ongoing and two new development schemes of Defence Division under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for next financial year 2018-19.
According to the budgetary document, a total of Rs 562.447 have been earmarked for the ongoing schemes. Out of
this, Rs 253.954 million have been reserved for procurement of 3 No. Latest Printing Machines for Modernization of
Survey of Pakistan, Rs 89.781 million have been allocated for Establishment of FG Degree College for Boys Kohat
Cantt, Rs 85 million for construction of Office Complex including Boundary Wall of Survey of Pakistan Lahore.
Rs 75.515 million and Rs 58.197 million have been earmarked for procurement/construction of Maritime Patrol
Vessels (MPVs for PMSA) and Water Distribution Network for RCB/CCB based on Khanpur Dam Water Source
(Phase-III) respectively.
An amount of Rs 20 million has been set aside for a new unapproved scheme – Development of I.T Infrastructure
for Implementation of E-Office Application Suit, while Rs 58.197 million have allocated for another new scheme –
Establishment of New Generation Geodatic Datum of Pakistan.
Rs 51,205.617 mln allocated for KA&GB projects
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The federal government has allocated a sum of Rs 51,205.617 million for completing various projects in Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan division during the financial year 2018-19 under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). According to budgetary document, Rs 100 million has been allocated for constructing 5 MW Hydro Power Project Hassan Abad, Hunza; Rs 50 million for 30 MW Hydro Power Project Ghowari; Rs 150 million for 32.5 MW Hydro Power Project Attabad; Rs 200 million for construction and upgradation of 25 km long Kargah Road.
A sum of Rs 300 million has been earmarked for the establishment of Regional Grid Station, Gilgit-Baltistan, Phase I.
Rs 95 million for Medical college, Gilgit. Rs 400 million Sewerage and Sanitary System for Gilgit City, Phase-II. Rs 100 million for off shore development of Attabad Lake at Hunza, district, Hunza and Rs 400 million have been earmarked for widening and metal ling of 65 km road from Coronal Chilas to Naran via Botogah Valley.
Around 200 million allocated for Foreign Affairs division in PSDP
ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):The government has allocated around Rs. 199.774 million for three new schemes of Foreign Office Division for the
fiscal year 2018-19 in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) issued here on Friday.
Budgetary allocation for three new schemes included Rs. 100 million for Consultancy Services for State Guest House
and Conference Center Islamabad followed by Rs. 70 million for Construction of State Guest House and Conference
Center Islamabad.
While an amount of Rs. 29.774 million has been reserved for Renovation of ISSI Building including procurement
and Installation of Lift/Elevator Islamabad.
All the projects have been funded by the indigenous resources of the government and not a single penny has been
taken as foreign grant, revealed the budgetary document.
