CHINIOT , Jul 29 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal has said that there was zero tolerance for transparency in financial matters of government hospitals, and the available funds should be utilized in a transparent manner.
He said this while presiding over a meeting of the District Health Council.
The administrative and financial issues of government hospitals came under discussion in the meeting. The meeting reviewed the measures taken regarding the local procurement of medicines and the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need to formulate a comprehensive strategy due to the rush of patients at the District Headquarters Hospital.
He said that there should be no negligence in the arrangements for the relatives of patients in hospitals. The wings should be kept fully functional and there should be no reduction in the speedy provision of treatment to the patients. CEO Health Dr. Saqib Munir and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
