ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday expressed his deep grief over the death of Saudi Prince Al Waleed bin Khaled bil Talal, who died after spending more than two decades in a coma following a car accident.
“Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Prince Al Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal. His long and courageous struggle drew admiration and prayers from many across the world,” the prime minister wrote on his X timeline.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Royal Family, and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also prayed to Allah Almighty for elevation of the ranks of deceased prince in paradise.
Prince Al Waleed was the eldest son of Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud. At the age of 15, he suffered a devastating road accident in 2005 that caused severe brain injuries and internal bleeding.
