NA proceedings resumed on achieving the quorum after 41 minutes

ISLAMABAD, Dec 10 (APP): The National Assembly Thursday resumed its proceedings after being suspended for around 41 minutes and on achieving the quorum.
The National Assembly after starting its proceeding at 10:42 was suspended at 10:42 soon as the quorum was pointed out by Jamsheed Dasti.Dasti pointed out the quorum when the house was about to take up first agenda item of the business – the question-hour.

Speaker National Assembly Sardary Ayaz Sadiq asked for the members count and suspended the house proceeding till achieving the quorum, saying House is not in order and the proceeding is suspended till achieving the quorum.

At about 11:23, on the advice of the Speaker the count was made again, followed by the speaker’s announcement, “the house was in order.”Consequently, the quorum was achieved at about 11:23 and the house started its normal proceedings.

The agenda included question hours, legislative business, motions of thanks calling attenuation notice.
