KP CM telephoned complainants, inquires about behavior of Police, Revenue officials

PESHAWAR, Feb 10 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan Monday made personal contacts with complainants by calling them on their mobile phones and inquired about behavior of officials at Police Stations and Revenue department.

According to a press statement shared by KP Information Minister, Shaukat Yousafzai, the chief minister made random phone calls to complainants and introduced himself to the receiver.

After introduction, the CM asked the complainant that he visited a specific Police station and how he found the behavior of the officials performing duty there.

The same question was also asked from visitors of Revenue Offices, the press statement continued.

The chief minister also asked from the complainants that during visit to Police Station or Revenue office did any one ask them for payment of bribe or extra money to expedite officials works.

He also asked as how many days the office was approached and what is the status of work either it is addressed on not.

The complainants shared their experience of visit to Police Stations and Revenue department with the Chief Minister.

The CM on receiving complaints about bribe and misbehavior has issued on the spot directives for initiating disciplinary action against a number of officials of Police and Revenue Departments, the statement added.
