ISLAMABAD, Oct 18 (APP):Federal Minister for Water, Faisal Wada Thursday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to eliminate corruption from the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said all the institutions including National Accountability Bureau (NAB), should fulfill their responsibilities, adding that it was the duty of NAB to apprehend the elements involved in corruption cases.
The NAB was taking action against those elements involved in corruption activities, he said adding that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), was making hue and cry over the arrest of corrupt people.
Wada said NAB was working independently and without discrimination.
He assured that the PTI government would not leave any person unattended who were involved in corrupt practices.
To a question he alleged that the PPP and the PML-N, during their tenures, had used the NAB for their own purposes.
He said the leadership of the present government wanted to strengthen all the institutions in the country and for this, concrete measures had been taken to achieve the objectives.
