4th RCEP Import Expo opens in Linyi

BEIJING, Jun 27 (APP): The 4th RCEP (Shandong) Import Expo opened on Friday in Linyi, Shandong province of China.

A total of 348 enterprises participated in this expo, with an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters and 1,200 international standard booths. On the first day of the event, the cumulative number of visitors reached 15,000.

Exhibitors at this expo cover 66 countries and regions, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Japan and South Korea, with 247 foreign-related enterprises. Among them, there are 179 enterprises from RCEP countries, 51 from countries jointly building the “Belt and Road” Initiative, and 17 from other countries and regions.

As many as 17 state pavilions and 7 international sister-city pavilions have been set up. 28 e-commerce (cross-border) enterprises, such as Russian Wildberries and the cross-border platform Voghion, and 20 international chambers of commerce and associations, including the China-Africa Business Council, South Korea Small and Medium Business Corporation, Korea SMEs & Startups Agency, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, Indonesian Trade Promotion Center in Shanghai, and Australia Trade Commission, are seen participating in the expo, building an efficient docking platform for Chinese and foreign enterprises.

The expo deeply explores the participation of brand enterprises, and for the first time, sets up an “Intelligent Technology Exhibition Area” and a “Multinationals Zone”, bringing together 18 leading technology enterprises such as Tesla and Unitree Technology, as well as 11 Fortune 500 companies like CP Group and Amazon.

Exhibiting enterprises showcase their latest technological achievements and innovative solutions, fully demonstrating global cutting-edge industrial trends and high-end manufacturing strength. The China International Import Expo Bureau organized 21 exhibitors from the 8th China International Import Expo to participate in the expo.

This expo, relying on the China Market Digital Trade Platform, has realized the interactive integration of “online + offline”, and explored a sustainable development model of “exhibition + industry + logistics + digital”, upgrading the expo into a resource integration platform to continuously enhance Linyi’s three major advantages of “mall, logistics and industry”.
