GILGIT, Sep 22 (APP):The Government of Gilgit Baltistan started its second annual career festival, the “GB Career Fest 2023,” in Skardu, spanning until the 24th of September 2023.
This event aims to empower the Gilgit-Baltistan students from schools, colleges, and universities by opening doors to a world of career possibilities.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Education Ghulam Shahzad Agha, Minister of Planning and Development Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Senior Minister Amjad Zaidi, Chief Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani, and other government officials, along with students from across Gilgit-Baltistan.
The festival holds a three-fold mission. Firstly, it seeks to raise awareness among students of all ages about the diverse career avenues available in today’s modern world. Secondly, the festival is designed to kindle the flames of passion within students. Lastly, the GB Career Fest offers students the invaluable opportunity to interact with thought leaders and experts hailing from various walks of life.
The event features an expansive exhibition area, where numerous organizations have set up stalls to showcase their educational institutions and services.
This setting provides a platform for one-on-one interactions between students and representatives of these organizations. Students can explore educational opportunities and gather informative materials.
