KARACHI, Jul 01 (APP):The overall tax collection by the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) during outgoing financial year 2024-25 increased to Rs 306.6 billion depicting a growth of 29.5 % over Rs 236.8 billion revenue collection of the previous financial year.
Sindh Revenue Board, in a statement issued here on Tuesday, informed that the board has achieved another milestone by collecting revenue of Rs 40.5 billion during June 2025 showing 44 % growth as compared to the collection of Rs 28.1 billion in June 2024.
“The collection of Rs 40.5 billion during June 2025 is the highest ever revenue collection in any month since SRB commenced revenue collection in 2011-12,” secretary SRB Naveed Shoukat Rajput said in the statement.
He attributed the performance of SRB to the hard work and dedication of its workforce, complete political support of Sindh government and trust and cooperation by taxpayers and vowed that SRB team is determined to maintain the trend of the revenue growth in FY 2025-26 which also involves meeting new challenges like collection of Agricultural Income Tax and introduction of the Negative List Tariff regime from July 01, 2025.
