PML-N clean sweeps with 230 seats

LAHORE, Oct 31 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-N clean
swept in the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) by securing
230 Union Council (UC) seats, out of the total 274 in the Local
Bodies elections 2015.
According to unofficial results, in Lahore district,
independent candidates could secure 27 seats while Pakistan
Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) remained at third position by obtaining
12 seats in the local bodies elections.
However, the PPP could only bag 1 seat.
