ISLAMABAD, Jun 30 (APP):Qudsia Namoos, Nazima of the Women’s Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Islamabad on Tuesday emphasized that youth were the future of Pakistan, noting that over 60 percent of the country’s population comprised on young people.
In an exclusive interview with APP, Qudsia Namoos reaffirmed Jamaat-e-Islami’s commitment to empowering the youth, pledging that the party would support them in fulfilling their dreams and stand firmly by their side.
Qudsia informed that recently JI Media Cell organized the ‘Youth Digital Summit’ marking the beginning of a bright future. “These young individuals are driven to make a difference for Pakistan—and we stand with them every step of the way.”
Qudsia Namoos highlighted that under the “Bano Qabil” program, free IT training was being offered to the youth. She noted that thousands of young individuals took part in the recent summit, where industry experts mentored them in shaping careers within the digital industry.
“Jamaat-e-Islami is with the youth to uplift them and to turn their dreams into reality,” she concluded.
Talking to APP Sajida Absar, Incharge of Publications said that the Youth Digital Summit was the next step after “Bano Qabil,” aimed at introducing new dimensions to young people in this digital era.
She explained that the objective was to equip youth with digital skills, enabling them to pursue careers aligned with their interests and abilities, and ultimately contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
She added that through such initiatives, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan actively promoted the character development of the nation’s youth.
Ali, a student, who attended YDS shared his experience. He said that he had traveled from Lahore to attend the event. “YDS has opened my eyes and reshaped my perspective on how powerful digital tools can be in driving social change,” he remarked.
“I am leaving inspired and motivated to start my own project,” he shared.
Another participant of YDS Binish, a digital content creator, shared that she attended the event because it aligned closely with her field. “I found it incredibly helpful and informative,” she added.
She shared that the summit highlighted the significance of youth voices in the digital sphere. “I now feel more confident using technology to express my ideas,” she added.
“The summit helped me realize the power we hold to make an impact through technology,” she said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Youth Digital Summit (YDS) 2025, organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami Media Cell, drew an overwhelming response in Islamabad, with the event held at the Convention Center, Islamabad. Over 9,000 young professionals from the digital industry—including content creators, digital marketers, web developers, influencers, social media activists, and others—gathered under one roof to attend the event. Approximately 65 percent of the participants were men. The speakers included Deputy Attorney General for Pakistan Raja Khurram Shahzad, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Punjab, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mehmood, Social media influencer, Assistant Professor, and Consultant Gastro Dr. Muhammad Affan Qaiser, Digital Marketer and Entrepreneur Sidra Naseem, CEO-Creative Alley Tanzila Khan and many more. Representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami also addressed the audience, including Incharge Media Cell Salman Shaikh, Secretary General of the Women Wing Dr. Humera Tariq, and Deputy Secretary General Dr. Samia Raheel.
