ISLAMABAD, Jun 1 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has prediced very hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places in
Malakand, Zhob divisions and FATA during evening/night.
According to met office, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Hyderabad, Sibbi, Makran divisions and
south Punjab (Multan, Bahawalpur, DG Khan divisions) will remain in the grip of intense heat. Dust raising winds are also expected in Multan, Bahawalpur, Quetta, Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad divisions.
Seasonal low pressure area lies over southeast Iran with
its trough extending southeastwards.
A westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of
the country tonight and likely to spread to upper parts of the
country on Thursday.
Weather remained very hot and dry in the most parts of
the country during the last 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at few places in Khuzdar.
