Very hot, dry weather expected; rain, dust-thunderstorm likely in few areas

ISLAMABAD, Jun 7 (APP): Very hot and dry weather is expected
in most parts of the country while dust-thunderstorm/rain is
expected at few places in Kashmir, Hazara, Lahore division.

Very hot weather conditions are likely to continue over plain
areas of Punjab, central and Southern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper
Sindh, Sibbi and Makran divisions however, dust-thunderstorm/rain
is likely at few places in Kashmir, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala,
Lahore divisions, Islamabad and FATA.

Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan with its trough
extending south-eastwards. A weak deflected moist currents are
penetrating in eastern parts of the country, an official of
met office told APP.

Weather remained very hot and dry in most parts of the country
during last 24 hours.

Maximum Temperatures recorded on Tuesday remained Jaccobabad
51øC, Sibbi 50øC, R.Y.Khan, Moenjodaro, Bhakkar, Larkana 49øC,
Rohri, NoorpurThal, Sukkur 48øC, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Dadu,
Okara 47øC, Islamabad 41øC, Lahore 43øC, Karachi 38øC, Peshawar
42øC, Quetta 38øC, Gilgit 35øC, Chitral 36øC, Hunza 31øC,
Muzaffarabad 39øC, Murree 28øC, Skardu 31øC, Faisalabad 45øC, Multan 46øC, Hyderabad 46øC, Dir 36øC and Kalat 34øC.
