Rain-thunderstorm expected at scattered places, snow at hilly areas

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (APP): Rain-thunderstorm is expected at scattered
places in upper Khaber Pakhtunkhwa, with snow fall at hilly areas in
next 24 hours.
Rainfall is predicted at Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan,
Kohat divisions, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated
places in Bannu, D.I.Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Zhob divisions
and Islamabad.
Snowfall forecast over the hills of Malakand, Hazara divisions,
Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during next 24 hours.
Met office reported that a westerly wave is affecting upper parts
of the country and likely to persist till Wednesday.
Rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in KP, while at isolated places in Quetta,
Zhob, Rawalpindi divisions, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
In last 24 hours, rainfall recorded at Parachinar=13 mm, Dir=11mm,
Kalam=7mm, Balakot=6mm, Mirkhani=5mm, Malamjaba=4mm, Cherat=3mm,
Chitral=3mm, Muzaffarabad=3mm, Quetta(Samungli)=3mm, Quetta(Sheikh Manda)=3mm, Garhi Dupatta=2mm, Drosh=1mm, Zhob=1mm, Peshawar City=1mm, Astore=Trace, Bannu=Trace, D.I.Khan=Trace, Hunza=Trace, Kohat=Trace, Murree=Trace, Peshawar A/P=Trace, Rawalakot=Trace, Rawalpindi=Trace, Risalpur=Trace.
Lowest Temperature recorded on Tuesday were Parachinar 01øC,
Dalbandin 03øC, Islamabad 10øC, Lahore 15øC, Karachi 22øC,
Peshawar 13øC, Quetta 08øC, Gilgit 11øC, Hunza 04øC ,
