Five dead in various accidents due to fog

ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP): Rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in Khaber Pakhtunkhwa and isolated places of Quetta and Zhob Divisions while foggy conditions will continue in plain areas of Punjab and Sukkar Division during next 24 hours.
Scattered rain is expected at Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I Khan Divisions), FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, while at isolated places in Quetta and Zhob Divisions tonight.

Met Office reported that a western disturbance is likely to grip upper parts of the country and may affect till Friday.Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country, while rain occurred at one or two places in Quetta division. However, fog occurred in plains of Punjab and Sukkur division.
