Rain likely at some places: Mainly hot weather to persist

ISLAMABAD, Sep 6 (APP):Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at few places in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas while hot and humid weather will persist in most parts of the country in next 24 hours.
Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Gujranwala, Lahore, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir.
Weak moist currents from Bay of Bengal are reaching north-eastern parts of the country, Met official told APP on Thursday.
Weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. Maximum temperature recorded on Thursday remained in Sibbi 42°C, Noorpur Thal 42°C, Bhakkar 42°C, R.Y.Khan and Dadu 41°C.
