PMD forecasts rain-thundershower with dust-storm at scattered places

ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department
(PMD) has forecasted rain-thundershower with dust-storm/strong gusty winds at scattered places during last 24 hours.

According to weather report of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) rain-thundershower with dust-storm/strong gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Kashmir, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions), & Hazara divisions, while at isolated places in upper KP (Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu divisions), FATA, south Punjab (Multan, D.G khan, Bahawalpur divisions), northeast Balochistan
(Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions), upper Sindh (Sukkur,
Larkana, Hyderabad divisions) and Gilgit-Baltistan.

While hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the
country.

Seasonal low lies over central Balochistan and its adjoining
areas. Moderate moist currents from Arabian sea are penetrating in
upper/eastern parts of the country and likely to continue during
next 4 to 5 days.

A shallow westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the
country and likely to persist during next 24 to 36 hours.
