PMD forecast more rain

ISLAMABAD, July 5 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday forecast rain in upper Punjab, Hazara, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during next 24 hours

According to a PMD spokesman, rain and thundershowers with isolated heavy falls accompanied by windstorm are expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, FATA, Gilgit-
Baltistan and Kashmir.

According to Synoptic Situation: Seasonal low lies over North Balochistan with its trough extending northeastwards. Monsoon currents are continually penetrating in upper parts of the country and likely to continue during next couple of days. A westerly wave is
likely o affect upper parts of the country during next 2-3 days. Under the influence of these meteorological conditions weather will remain as follows:

The spokesman said that during last 24 hours, Rainfall recorded in various cities, Dir 15mm, Kakul 01mm, Kashmir: Muzaffarabad 2mm, Kotli 1mm, Punjab:

Murree 1mm, Gilgit-Baltistan and Astore 1mm.

Highest Maximum Temperatures recorded during last 24 hours: Nokkundi, Dalbandin 47øC, Sibbi, Sukkur, Dadu 45øC, R.Y.Khan, Bahawalpur, Rohri 44øC.
