ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP):Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Whereas, a shallow westerly trough is also prevailing over Kashmir and adjoining areas, and moving in northeastward.
According to the meterological department of pakistan anofficial Muhammad Junaid said , mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain (with light snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Foggy conditions would continue in the plain areas of Punjab during night and morning hours. Foggy conditions would continue in the plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh during night and morning hour.
Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain (snowfall over the hills) occurred at isolated places in Upper KP, Upper FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
