Light rain, snowfall expected at isolated places, shallow foggy conditions to continue in plain areas

ISLAMABAD, Jan 4 (APP): Light rain with light snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its  adjoining areas in next 24 hours.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while shallow foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during  morning hours.

Met office reported that a westerly wave is passing over Kashmir  and its adjoining areas.

In last 24 hours rain with snowfall over the hills occurred at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Quetta and Rawalpindi divisions.
