ISLAMABAD, July 12 (APP): The Met office on tuesday predicted heavy rainfall in Sindh that would begin earlier than other provinces.
While talking to Private news channel Director General Pakistan Meteorological Department Dr.Ghulam Rasul said that Sindh would receive an ample amount of rainfall this year and this monsoon season would be very favorable for the province.
He said some areas of Sindh would get heavy showers including Karachi and Hyderabad.
Director said Met office have issued alert for rain-thunderstorm with heavy falls accompanied by windstorm in Karachi and the flood situation could be caused if the drains and nullahs could not be cleaned.
On the other hand , the health department has imposed emergency in all the hospitals citing the warning.
