Uniform curriculum for schools, madrassas needed: Sardar Yousaf


LAHORE, Apr 13 (APP): Federal Minister for Religious
Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Wednesday stressed the need for a uniform curriculum and syllabus for all schools and madrassas in order to equip the new generation with religious and modern education.

Addressing the launching ceremony of a book “Seerat
Encyclopedia” compiled by Dar us Salam, here, he said that the present educational curriculum did not meet the requirements and needs of the new generation, adding, the government, in this regard, had constituted a committee to prepare same syllabus for all schools and madrassas.

The Minister paid tribute to Dar us Salam for seven years
long research efforts in compilation of this book for the benefits of Muslims across the world.
