KARACHI, Nov 20 (APP):Zone-VII Whites stormed into the final of the Touchme Trophy Under-15 Inter-Zonal Cricket Tournament with a commanding 127-run victory over Zone-II Whites in the first semi-final at KCCA Stadium.
The victory was powered by stellar batting performances from Amanullah Khan, who scored 62 runs, Omar Admani with 54, and an unbeaten 41 from Hassan. Organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi in collaboration with Medicam Group of Companies, the tournament showcases emerging cricket talent in the city.
Scores in Brief:
Zone-VII Whites: 236/4 in 40 overs (Amanullah Khan 62, Omar Admani 54 with 4 boundaries, Hassan 41 not out with 2 boundaries and 4 sixes, Riaz Ahmed 32 not out).
Zone-II Whites: All out (Aitazaz Khan 21, Muzammil Hussain 18, S. Hussain Imam 18 not out; S. Abdul Rafay 3/20, Muhammad Uzair 2/25).
Following the match, S.M. Asim, Vice President of Zone-IV, awarded Amanullah Khan the Medicam Man of the Match award for his exceptional performance.
The second semi-final will take place on Thursday, November 21, between Zone-VI Whites and Zone-VII Blues at the KCCA Stadium.
