Zalmi foundation signs MoU with International rescue committee

LAHORE, Dec 30 (APP):The number one franchise of the Pakistan
Super League in terms of brand value, Peshawar Zalmi, has achieved
yet another milestone by signing a MoU with the International Rescue Committee.Chairman Zalmi Foundation & Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi met the President of IRC David Miliband who was the Secretary of State for
Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs from 2007 to 2010 and the Member
of Parliament for South Shields from 2001 to 2013 in London, said
a spokesman of the Peshawar Zalmi here on Sunday.
During the meeting, both of them signed the MoU and agreed upon
working towards improving education in the world with a primary
focus on Pakistan.
Javed Afridi speaking on the occasion said that “Zalmi
Foundation is already diligently working to empower the youth
of KPK and working towards improvement in Health and Education.
After this MoU, we will be working on a much greater level that
can benefit everyone profoundly.
David Miliband appreciated the efforts of the Zalmi Foundation
and hoped that together, Zalmi Foundation and IRC, will work towards improving education and health for women and children across Pakistan
and around the world as well. It brings me immense pleasure to see
that the Zalmi Foundation has already been diligently working on
various projects for the people of KPK and has established a strong foundation in a few years time. Zalmi Foundation introduced the
first ever Zalmi School League and Zalmi Madrasa League in KPK.
