ISLAMABAD, Oct 1 (APP):Wapda, Pakistan Army, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Karachi Monday earned victories on the second day of National Women Basketball Championship played here at Liaquat Gymnasium of the Pakistan Sports Complex.
In the first match Wapda outclassed Hazara by 67-6. Army beat Peshawar by 80-2 in the second match.
In the third match, Rawalpindi defeated Hyderabad by 29-5 while Islamabad thrashed Quetta by 44-4 in the fourth match. Karachi won the fifth match against Hazara by scoring 28 points against 3.
Pakistan Basketball Federation selector Col. (R) Shujaat Ali was the chief guest while Pakistan Judo Federation President Col. (R) Ghulam Murtaza was also present on the occasion.
