Veteran Cricketer Sana Mir excited to see De Villiers playing in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Jan 29 (APP):The entire cricket fraternity in Pakistan is desperately waiting for the start of the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Veteran all-rounder Sana Mir is looking forward to see her all-time favorite former South African captain AB De Villiers playing at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore during the scheduled matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The league is all set to start from February 14 with Islamabad taking on Lahore Qalandars after a glittering opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium.
Sana talking to private news channel said that de Villiers is a big name in the cricket world and everyone wants to see him playing after a long time. “Yes, I am also looking forward to MR 360 (de Villiers) playing at our home ground,” she added.
Sana, on the other hand, wants Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultan show some courage in the upcoming extravaganza. She said that Sultans and Qalandars didn’t get off the mark in the last season of the league due to some hiccups in their performance.
“I would love to see Qalandars and Sultans showing their dominance which will surely add some more hype to the upcoming season,” she said.
Sana, who is the part of Pakistan’s squad against the West Indies, said that the team is gelled up and looking forward to prove their mettle against the visitors.
“We have been training for the last couple of weeks in which we worked on bowling variations,” she said.
Sana was quick to add that West Indies is a strong T20I side and playing against them will demand full focus and courage.
“They are a powerhouse of T20I cricket. They have batswomen who can smash the ball big but we have faith in our bowlers who keep the ability to get rid of them,” said Sana who thinks that they also have players like Omaima Sohail and Aliya Riaz who can be influential with the bat.
Being a senior player, Sana always finds opportunities to help his young compatriots and try to share her experience with them when and where needed.
“I always try to help young players around me and also my captain, coach who are carrying a huge responsibility on their shoulders,” Sana said.
Sana has represented Pakistan in 112 ODIs scoring 1158 runs and in T20Is she has scored 794 runs in 97 matches. As a right-arm off break bowler, she has taken 136 wickets in ODI and 81 in T20Is.
It also mention that AB De Villiers, who will play for Qalandars in PSL, earlier announced to come to Lahore to represent his team in front of an enthusiastic Lahori crowd.
