BAHAWALPUR, Nov 11 (APP):The Directorate of Sports at Islamia University of Bahawalpur, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, organized the HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Fencing (Men) Championship 2025-26.
The event took place at the Sports Complex of the Baghdad Al-Jadeed Campus, with eleven universities from across Pakistan participating.
The University of Central Punjab, Lahore emerged as the champion, while the University of Lahore claimed the runner-up spot. The University of Management and Technology, Lahore, and the University of Swabi jointly secured third place.
The closing ceremony was graced by Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University of Bahawalpur, who served as the chief guest.
