U-19 skill development camp continues as players eye England tour

The Pakistan Under-19 Skills Development Camp is continuing in Multan with the participation of 31 promising cricketers, as preparations intensify for the team’s upcoming international assignments, including the England tour, the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup and the ICC Under-19 World Cup.

MULTAN, Jul 01 (APP): The Pakistan Under-19 Skills Development Camp is continuing in Multan with the participation of 31 promising cricketers, as preparations intensify for the team’s upcoming international assignments, including the England tour, the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup and the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
During the camp, coaches and trainers are working extensively to enhance the players’ technical skills, physical fitness and mental strength to prepare them for the challenges of international cricket.
Head Coach Shahid Anwar delivered a special lecture on the team’s long-term vision and future objectives, focusing on the forthcoming tour of England, the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup and the ICC Under-19 World Cup. He urged the young cricketers to maintain discipline, work hard and remain consistent in their efforts to earn a place in the Pakistan Under-19 squad.
The Skills Development Camp will conclude in the last week of August.
Pakistan Under-19 team is scheduled to tour England in September, where it will play one four-day match and a four-match One-Day series as part of its preparations for major international competitions.
Pakistan enters the upcoming season as the defending ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup champion after defeating India in the final to lift the continental title.
