ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP): Pakistan’s Farhan Mehboob, Farhan Zaman and Tayyab Aslam claimed spots in the quartefinal stage of Chief of Naval Staff International Squash Championship by earning victories at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad on Wednesday.
Farhan Mehboob edged passed Piedro Schweertman of Netherlands 11-4, 11-3 and 11/7. While Farhan Zaman claimed win against Christopher Binnie of Jamica, defeating him 14-12, 11-5 and 13-11.
Tayya b Aslam beat Egypt’s Mazen Gamal 11-9, 6-11, 11-8, 15-13.
A total of eight matches were decided in the main round on Wednesday. Following are the results:
