ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (APP): Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has
expressed the desire to play for Sachin Tendulkar’s team in the upcoming Cricket All Stars League T20 series, scheduled to be held in USA, next week.
Sachin and former Australia legspinner Shane Warne, who will play
against each other for their respective teams – Sachin Blasters and Warne Warriors – are set to grip the USA in cricket fever.
They will play their opening game at the Citi field in New York, which
is also home ground for New York Mets Major League Baseball (MLB) team.
“I hope Sachin picks me in his team. Sachin, I request you, I am done
battling with you, please pick me in your team. I know that every Indian wants to see me opposite you but please pick me in your team,” Shoaib said in a talk show hosted by StarSports.The much awaited tournament is all set to kick off later this month in
the United States.
