KARACHI, Oct 02 (APP):P Shipping activity was report at the port where six ships, Hansa Africa, Jin Shun He, London Star, Abdullah, Navigator Aries and Nepta scheduled to load/offload Container, HSFO, Rape Seed and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal respectively berthed at during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile two more ships, Sibal and EVA Fuji carrying Steel Coil and Chemicals are also arrived at outer anchorage on same period as above mentioned.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Falcon Majestic and Al-Qassar left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Hansa Africa, Jin Shum He and Alexandros-III are expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 175,588 tonnes, comprising 107,748 tonnes imports cargo and 67,840 export cargo carried in 5,146 Containers (2,092 TEUs Imports & 3,054 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 08 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Ultra Endurance and Meghna Sun & another ship, Wenche Victory scheduled to load/offload Cement, Coal and Palm oil are expected to take berths at MW-1, PQPET, PIBT and LCT on today.
