JAMRUD, Apr 18 (APP):Senior Minister for Sports, Culture and Tourism Muhammad Atif Thursday here inaugurated the week-long sports gala for merged areas at Jamrud Sports Complex.
As many as 32 games including 27 for men and five for women to be played were part of the festival in merged tribal districts including Khyber, Bajour, Mohmand and Waziristan.
Director Sports Muhammad Nawaz said the sports gala was meant to provide recreational facilities to the tribal people.
He said as many as 2643 players including women were participating in the sports gala which would continue for seven days.
