SAOC delegation visits PTF Complex ahead of SAGs 2027
ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (APP):A delegation of the South Asia Olympic Council (SAOC) visited the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Complex, Islamabad, to inspect the venue and facilities in connection with the proposed hosting of tennis events during the South Asian Games (SAGs) 2027.
The delegation was welcomed by Col. (R) Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General PTF, along with other PTF officials.
The delegation was briefed by the PTF Secretary General about the existing infrastructure, facilities and ongoing development initiatives at the PTF Tennis Complex.
He highlighted PTF’s experience in successfully hosting international events, including ATP and World Tennis tournaments, besides regional and national competitions.
During the visit, the SAOC delegates inspected the tennis courts, player facilities, seating areas and other key venues that could be utilized for the SAGs 2027.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegates to assess the available facilities and infrastructure for the proposed tennis events of the regional multi-sport competition.
