RAWALPINDI, Oct 06 (APP): Athletes representing Rawalpindi Division delivered a stellar performance at the Pak-China Friendship Games 2026, securing a total of 21 medals, including five gold, six silver, and 10 bronze medals in various sports.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Salman Ghani commended the contingent’s achievements, noting that their success reflects dedication, rigorous training and sportsmanship, said a press release.
Salman Ghani emphasized that under the vision of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif for a healthier province, the regional administration is actively prioritizing sports infrastructure and youth engagement to foster healthy competitive activities across the division.
In the gold medal tally, the Rawalpindi Division badminton male team secured first position, while track athletes Amna Aqeel and Bushra Arshad won gold in female athletics. Male Wushu players Muhammad Arshad and Mosab Shafi also clinched top spots to bring home gold medals.
Silver medalists included the female volleyball team, Fatima Aqeel and Mehwish Karim in female athletics, Allah Dita in male athletics, and Muhammad Faheem and Muhammad Hussain in male Wushu.
Bronze medals were claimed by Pakiza Amjad and Amna Khan (female athletics), Abdul Wasey (male athletics), Rida Fatima, Azka Noor, Momina Irshad and Urwa Maheen (female Wushu), Arham Abbasi and Shoaib Malik (male Wushu), and Ibadat Anwar in male gymnastics.
