Ramadan Tenpin Bowling Championship to begin on May 25

LAHORE, May 21 (APP)::Ramadan Tenpin Bowling Championship will
swing into action on May 25 at Islamabad’s Leisure City Bowling
Club Safa Gold mall under the supervision of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation.
The players from twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad besides top notch
of the country will feature in Master singles, a spokesman of
PTPB said here on Monday.
“Each player will play five games in a day and will complete a set
of 15 games in three days. After completion of 15 games round, top 4
players will play the final round of the championship”, he added.
He said PTBF is organizing bowling events on regular basis to
engage youth in the sport.
“We organize Ramadan championship every year to provide a platform
for our new and professional players to exhibit their talent and
technique”“, he said adding that “Cash prizes will be awarded to the notable position holders to encourage their participation”.
He said it was a heartening sign that bowling is at constant rise in the country
with each passing day. “We are taking measures for
the overall development of the game besides ensuring the participation
of teams in major international bowling activities”, he maintained.
