Punjab sports minister, Secretary sports reach Palestine

LAHORE, Feb 06 (APP):Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada and Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan on
Tuesday reached Ramallah, Palestine, to attend the opening ceremony of the Al-Quds Ash-Sharif OIC Youth Capital 2018 Programme.
The opening ceremony of the programme will be held at al-Moqataa Presidential Compound.
The programme will end on Feb 8, said a spokesman for the Sports Board Punjab here.
The Al-Quds Ash-Sharif OIC Youth Capital 2018 Programme will launch a year of activities that seek to raise international awareness of the Palestinian issue and development of Palestinian youth.
The launch of first Palestinian National Youth Council as well as the first meeting of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif OIC Youth Capital Council of Patrons consisting of OIC ministers and high-level representatives of heads of states will also take place on the sidelines of the porgramme.
