LAHORE, Dec 21 (APP):Punjab Secretary Sports Nadeem Mehboob Friday visited four sports venues here at Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
Nadeem Mehboob inspected state-of-the-art Punjab International Swimming Complex, Tennis Stadium, Pitch-2 hockey ground and National Hockey Stadium. He asked about the performance at these sports venues.
Director General Director Sport Punjab Nadeem Sarwar, Director Admin Javed Chohan, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, Deputy Director Tariq Wattoo and other top officials were also present during their inspection visits.
Nadeem Sarwar briefed the Secretary Sports Punjab about various features of the top class sports facilities. Administrator Shahid Faqir Virk gave a detailed briefing about the working and different functions of state-of-the-art Punjab International Swimming Complex.
The secretary Sports, on this occasion, appreciated the valuable sports facilities at Nishtar Park saying that the talented youth of the Punjab should avail Sports Board Punjab’s top class sports facilities fully. “Punjab Govt is making all out efforts to provide modern facilities to talented youth of the province. Now Punjab’s talented youngsters can sharpen their sports skills at these sports venues.”
Nadeem Mehboob said the Punjab government, as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was committed to the cause of sports and in this regard no stone will be left unturned.
